2025’s International Women’s Day theme was “Accelerate Action” and was focused on the need to accelerate action by addressing and removing systematic barriers and biases that women face in both personal and professional spaces.

This year Bankstown Sports had the privilege to attend various International Women’s Day events and hear from inspiring women from different walks of life and fields.
If it was a senior student talking about her experience in representing Australia in Japan at a Robotics competition, listening to a panel of women in leadership in fields dominated predominantly by men and even listening to men who are allies for women!

Bankstown Sports Club were proud to be sponsors of Bankstown Girls High School International Women’s Day Event as well as sponsors for Little Wings International Women’s Day Event.
